Featured Image -- 5067Hello everyone!  I just wanted to send out a reminder that Monday, September 15, 2014 is the deadline to propose a panel, paper, or reading for this year’s Hands On Literary Festival & Masquerade Ball.  To view our call for papers, click here!  Remember, our theme for this year is Silver & Gold: Wealth & Economics in Creative Writing & Literature.  And our keynote speakers are none other than the lovely Joy Castro, and the “Godfather” of creative nonfiction, Lee Gutkind.

Our early bird registration deadline is also Monday, September 15.  So lock in our best rates by registering now!  We have added in several new master classes this time, including one with Lee Gutkind, and a special seminar on publishing with Neil White.  We even have a master class called “The Class I WISH I’d Taken During my MFA.”  You can also sign up for a manuscript consultation with Lee Gutkind or Neil White – or both!  And, as we did last year, the festival will culminate in a masked ball on New Year’s Eve, which will also be silver & gold themed!

Last year was a lot of fun, and very rewarding.  I hope to see as many of you as possible this New Year’s in New Orleans!
