The 2015 Hands On Literary Festival is Now Open for Proposals and Registration!

meandjenniferballHello all! We wanted to let you know that the 2015 Hands On Literary Festival & Masquerade Ball is now open for registration, as well as proposals for panels, readings, and papers.  The keynote speaker will be Dorothy Allison, and the theme is “The Politics and Power of Place and Space.”  Our masquerade ball on New Year’s Eve will have an Earth & Sea theme.  We’ve also launched a new website for all things festival – you can check it out here!

And just in case you need a little more convincing, check out previous festival attendee and presenter John Vanderslice’s blog post on our festival here!

We’re really excited about this year, not just because of Dorothy Allison (though we’re really, really excited about THAT), but because we’re adding new Master Classes, including one on food writing, and we already have a great line up of writers and speakers we think will help create a great atmosphere of conversation and creativity.  We’re even going to have a couple of book launches there this year!  Consider joining us in New Orleans, where we hope you’ll literally have the literary time of your life!
