Greetings all! We’re very excited to announce that registration is now open for this year’s Hands On Literary Festival and Masquerade Ball, which is scheduled to take place this December 28 to December 31, 2014 in New Orleans.
Here are just a few reasons why we’re excited about this year’s festival:
- Our keynote speakers will be Joy Castro and Lee Gutkind!
- We’re offering a number of new Master Classes, including a class on publishing with Neil White, a class on creative nonfiction with the “godfather” of creative nonfiction Lee Gutkind, and a Master Class in fiction called “The Novel Writing Class I WISH I’d had in my MFA.”
- We’re helping Creative Nonfiction host a 20th Anniversary Celebration!!!
- Lavender Ink is sponsoring a welcome party on the 28th, and a book launch for another of our speakers, Steve Church!
- Our theme this year is Silver & Gold: Wealth & Economics in Creative Writing & Literature – and we are currently accepting proposals for papers, panels, and readings.
- Our Masquerade Ball will be silver & gold themed!
And much more. There are a lot of reasons to get excited about this year, and we hope you’ll join us! To check out more about this year’s festival, click here, and to register, click here.
